Prenatal Pilates In-studio Single Class
Our prenatal class is suitable for pregnant clients from 12 weeks to their due date. The class is a gentle & safe workout, focusing on mobilising the lower back, hips & pelvis as well as moving stretches, helping you maintain good posture & mobility during pregnancy. All of our classes include a brief initial explanation on the pelvic floor & show basic pelvic floor exercises. We also show movements which are helpful for braxton hicks contractions & during the birth.
A large swiss ball or birthing ball will be required for some of the class, this can be purchased at most sports shops or direct from the studio. If purchased from the studio we will have the ball inflated and ready for you at your first class.
This class is NOT suitable for clients with any injuries or illnesses or clients who have suffered any complications during their pregnancy. Please seek advice from your GP before enrolling.
In order to maintain social distancing please arrive at the studio at the scheduled class time to avoid congregating in the waiting areas. The studio door will open five minutes prior to the class time.
